It's such a cute and elegant brunch spot. The food was fresh and deliciously tasty. There is street parking, but the valet operates off of tips. It's definitely appreciated when you are unsure of where to park. The service was smooth and pleasant. We look forward to returning!
This is such an unexpected cute place! The outside doesn't give away much, but the inside decor is very chic. There is a hidden outdoor patio that looked very cute as well.
There is an eclectic menu of various flavors. They have a stone stove they cook the pizza on, and you can get a little hint of the smokey oak in the crust. I assume the bread for the charcuterie is made in the same way, as it is equally spectacular. They also have a nice variety of fries, all of which were very tasty.
The layout seemed accessible for a wheelchair, and they have ADA compliant bathrooms. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, which is always appreciated.
There is only one disabled parking space in a tiny parking lot. Every other spot is valet, but it is complimentary.
Had brunch with my girl friends there this past weekend. The staff was very attentive - especially the manager. The food was delicious and the drinks were unique. Will definitely be back!
My first time dining at Savoir, and it exceeded expectations! The farm-to-table style fare was excellent overall, with few misses. Highlights were the white pizza, prime beef pappardelle bolognese, pork chop with pomegranate and seared scallop entree. Cocktails were very good as well, and service was upbeat and professional.
I felt like the lighting in the main dining room could have been better after dark - they needed some directional lighting to create a more intimate dining experience - but that’s just a small thing in the grand scheme of things.
Good spot for date night and larger group entertaining. In the back of the dining room the night I was there, a group was celebrating a 25 year high school reunion. There was a also a baby shower and later, a wedding reception in the private dining room & patio.
If you have time, see if you can get after dinner drinks at the tiny bar inside Patton’s, the Steakhouse speakeasy hidden behind Savoir’s main bar. It’s avail for walk-ins & it’s quite sexy!
Our waiter was very nice. Kind and generous. He gave good advice and warned me about the Bottlecaps drink being very sweet. (tequila ; pumpkin spice ; lemon ; st arnold's root beer). I said, "what the hell, I'll do it anyway." My wife's drink was fantastic though. She had the Figgin Strong - dark rum ; fig ; angostura ; black walnut.
We got the brussel sprout appetizer, the Tex Mex Brussels - chorizo, brussels sprouts, maple sherry vinaigrette, sesame seeds. Delicious.
She ordered the grilled pork chop with pomegranate. Very very delicious and perfectly cooked. I had the White Pie - garlic, spinach, mushrooms, mozzarella. It was so damn good. The bread was perfect. Just melted in my mouth.
They brought us the wrong dessert last night. We didn't even realize it. Jessica just thought they were missing the chai from the description.
Our waiter came back with our actual dessert and said, sorry... Something about the guy was on his first night.
Both were very good. I think we actually liked the first one (the mistake) much better.
The only odd thing was the atmosphere. The music seemed off for the place. Hard to explain, but it was like loud dance music, but it's a fairly fancy place. It's hard to explain, but it just seemed mismatched.
Overall, highly recommend.
I was here for a business luncheon. The presentation was excellent, service was top tier, loved the ambiance. Everything was fresh and delicious. The brussel sprouts were chef’s kiss 10 out of 10. The dessert board was so delicious. I can’t wait to comeback fro brunch.
Wow, a dining experience to experience. This was our Christmas date night restaurant. I surprised my husband with this restaurant. Now my husband is a real foodie 😋 so it is difficult to find a place where he enjoys all categories. Savoir and Patton's both nailed it. He described the Chateaubriand as the "Commander of All Steaks." LOL. The two A la Carte were the Creamed Spinach and the Sautee Mushrooms, delicious 😋.
We were at Savoir's bar around 6:30 pm, then went to the steak speakeasy at 7 pm on a Tuesday evening. Savoir's have well crafted cocktails with flare for presentation.
Our table side waitress was friendly, informative, and attentive without being intrusive. The best, 5 stars for her and her crew.
What we enjoyed about the atmosphere was that it does not encourage a family to bring their small children on iPads and dads wearing their Birkenstocks with socks.
This is still for mature intimate dates. We could speak in a normal tone. I did not consider the tables too close. The mellow jazz singer accompanied by her guitar player was at the perfect sound level.
These are 2 different restaurants connected through the speakeasy walkway. Valet parking available.
A fantastic experience- excellent presentation, food, and service. It was our first time here but surely won’t be the last. We came for Houston Restaurant Weeks, and that menu was a great deal. We dined in the main dining room at about 5pm, and were pleasantly surprised and appreciative to receive a 20% happy hour discount on our bottle of wine. Everything we had was delicious- Tex mex Brussels sprouts, watermelon salad, scallops, and salmon. Desserts were wonderful too. Nice atmosphere and clear attention to detail with the food. Note that it’s a very small parking lot with valet parking only.
